Mesa Falls

40 miles outside of Rexburg, there are some gorgeous falls that is perfect for anyone to go. Many people that we asked said that it's a short hike to the falls and they're super pretty. They were right about it being super pretty, but the hike was more like a 30-foot walk. I even wore my hiking boots! They're really pretty to see in person, but it's hard to get a good picture angle, so you have to go there to see. It's perfect to bring families because the distance is so short that nobody will complain. Here's some pictures of the evidence.

This is just to show that John and I went together. There was nobody there to take a picture, so we had to use our long arms to improvise.

The upper falls

John at the upper falls

The lower falls which I think were way prettier than the upper falls, but we were really far away. This picture is zoomed in 7 times.

View of the Tetons on the drive up. Even better in person.

  1. Those falls are super pretty! What a great view of the Tetons too. Now I miss living near mountains.
I don't remember you mentioning getting hiking boots in any of our 3 times a day chats. When did that happen?
